Over the eight weeks, the class will creatively collaborate to develop and rehearse an adaptation from a children’s fiction or non-fiction story that teaches a moral or educational lesson. This performance will be recorded for families on the final class. While our stage adaptation will incorporate music, it will be more for the purpose of adding movement and physicality, and setting dramatic tone. Students will build confidence and social interaction skills as they work as a creative team. All students must be available for the recording of their performance on the final date.
