Acting for the camera comes closer to reality than acting on stage, and requires its own unique set of skills. In this eight-week workshop, you’ll build the basic skills necessary to act and audition for television, film and commercials using actual network and film scripts, and working under a former NYC casting director and acting coach. Explore how body and facial gestures convey important information to a viewing audience and how the camera lens can become your best friend. You’ll also receive tips for finding agents and booking professional work.
