Get in tune with your body and explore storytelling, character-creation and expression through movement! Students will explore body language, observing how posture, gesture and facial expression can convey character, attitude, intensity and emotion. They’ll also build confidence, comfort and pride in their own bodies as they learn basic dance and movement skills, and strengthen their sense of balance and coordination in a no-pressure environment. Staged pieces will be presented in a showcase for an invited audience at the end of the session.
