Explore how the camera lens can become your best friend. In this eight-week workshop, you’ll learn the basic skills needed to act and audition for television, film and commercials as well as how to set up your own camera and record your own audition submissions at home. Classroom footage will be made available to students so they may observe their progress and see how they read on-camera. How does an actor learn to “fade and focus”: the art of knowing when it’s time to become the focus of the scene and when to fade into the role of the active listener?
