Broadway Melodies: Musical Performance for Kids, Grades 3 to 5September 28, 2022 – Broadway Melodies: Musical Performance for Kids, Grades 3 to 5Registration now closed. Instructor: Ruth Lettera Wednesdays, 4:30pm to 5:45pm 9/21, 9/28, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 (*No class 10/5 in observance of Yom Kippur.) Musical theatre singing is not just about vocal quality, but character and storytelling as well. In this class, students will examine a few Broadway numbers, exploring character choices and story line as well building vocal technique and blending as an ensemble. Over the eight-week session, students will rehearse and stage a few different musical numbers from a variety of Broadway favorites!
