Summer Youth Programs

Curtain Call offers two different summer programs for youth: our Summerstock and Summerstock Junior Programs (conservatory-style classes in dramatic and musical theatre arts) and our Summer Youth Theatre which produces a full-scale musical production each summer featuring performers and technicians grade four thru age twenty-one. Summerstock Full-Day Workshops

Our Summerstock and Summerstock Junior full-day performance workshops are conservatory-style programs where students build and sharpen creative, performance and social skills. Their are four separate, two-week sessions that run Monday thru Friday. Each session can have a maximum of 40 students who are broken into three smaller, age-appropriate groups for class rotations. Each group will rotate between three instructors, each specializing in a different area:

Summerstock Creative Theatre: entering grades 6 thru 12. Improv, Shakespeare and Modern Acting.

Summerstock Musical Theatre: entering grades 6 thru 12. Acting, Singing and Dancing

*Students may register for both the Creative and Musical Theatre Sessions at a discount.

Summerstock Junior (two separate, two week sessions, One and Two): entering grades K to 5. Acting, Singing and Dancing.

*Students may register for both sessions One and Two at a discount or just One or Two.

Each Summerstock and Summerstock Junior Session culminates in a showcase of student work. The day typically runs 9:30am to 4:30pm in-person for grades 6 thru 12 and 10:00am to 3:00pm in-person for grades K to 5. Should the program be online again this summer, these hours will be reduced. A lunch and snack break will be part of the daily schedule. Should the program be in-person this summer, students will need to bring a lunch

Sibling Discounts and Payment Plan Options are available. Scholarships are available for students in need. Details on how to apply can be found in the sidebar to the right, if you are on your computer or tablet (or to the bottom if you are on your phone).

Details for our 2021 Summerstock and Summerstock Junior Workshops are still in the works and we are still making decisions based upon the data and guidelines as they come in. Please check back with us in the New Year.
