This adaptation of Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta, The Pirates of Penzance, takes place in a failing film studio just outside of London in the year 1927.  The studio is losing money and the cast of their last great film epic has walked out due to lack of salary.  In a stroke of brilliance, the producer hires the company of the now defunct Music Hall Royale to shoot the film in the new medium of SOUND.  Can he finish the film in time before the bank forecloses and shuts down the studio for good? All the great G & S songs you know and love with a fabulously funny new book. Great for the whole family.
