Dressing Room Theatre

Our 25th Anniversary Season

CRY TILL YOU LAUGH

ctyl-cc-postcard

A unique one-man show based on the real life saga of a son watching his father's last few weeks.

Written and performed by Stamford's Jake Levitt, performances in NYC have been well-attended and praised.
We're thrilled to welcome Jake home to Curtain Call and The Dressing Room Theatre where he and his entire family have been dedicated volunteers for many years.

After losing his dad to an unexpected three-week coma a year ago, Jake Levitt found out that the only way to make it through was to laugh. Join him on this journey, complete with a selection of music and parodies as eclectic as they are inappropriate, plus stand-up and storytelling in which you'll find out where the world's worst public emotional breakdowns took place, learn the best way to annoy a grieving person, plus so much more very useful* info! Jake searches for humor and light, while both over-sharing and over-caring, in 'Cry Till You Laugh.'

*He hopes you never have to find it useful.
