When Neil Simon and his wife Joan were newlyweds, they lived in an apartment, with very similar circumstances to the ones shared by our newlyweds in the show. The bathroom was so small, that bending over in the shower (too small for the tub) to clean the lower extremities was near impossibile, and thus Neils's excuse for Joan's preference to running "Barefoot in Central Park"

A great story, funny and charming about a newlywed couple's troubles with thier new apartment and the crazy friends and antics they meet along the way.
